Hi all, I'm on a Mac running Mac OS 10.8.2, and my default browser is Google Chrome (version 23.0.1271.101). When I connect to my FI9821W cameras in Chrome, it says 'Plugins are not found, Click me to download'.
However, I've downloaded the plugin, and manually added it to the Extensions tab, and it's Enabled. I've even removed it and reinstalled it, rebooted the browser and the computer, but it still says that it's misisng the plugin. How do I resolve this issue?
The plugin works in Safari, and I can connect to and view the camera. Thanks, Jeff Posts: 1 Joined: Sat Jan 05, 2013 1:45 pm. Hi, I do have exactly the same problem as previously described. I do have a FI9831W camera, and I'm using Chrome on MAC. Questions: - Does Foscam plan to correct the Chrome Plugin for MAC?
- Is this problem valid for ALL Foscam cameras, since I plan to by some more, but the prerequisite, is that I can view the images from Chrome on MAC & PC. P.S.: I can't envisage to use Safari on my MAC, since I share Chrome with PCs and Android equipments. Thank you for your feedback Vincent Posts: 1 Joined: Tue Jul 22, 2014 1:15 pm. Well, magically, Chrome started working with the Foscam cameras today.

I'm not sure what changed. I checked Extensions and there's nothing new there, so it must be the new version of Chrome that I'm running: 41.0.2224.3. One thing that has changed is that Chrome is now, finally, a 64-bit application on the Mac. Safari has been a 64-bit application for a couple years.
Other than that, I'm not sure what else is different, but the new version of Chrome definitely works with the Foscam web configuration utility. Posts: 4 Joined: Tue Apr 29, 2014 3:50 pm. I just upgraded a new FI9826W to the latest firmware, and the result is that I need new plugins for the browsers. When I click the link in Safari to download the plugin, it downloads an IPCWebComponents.exe file, which of course won't work on a Mac!

I can make that file work under Parallels in Windows 8.1 in Microsoft's Internet Explorer, which saved the day, since the camera came up inverted and flipped from what it needs to be. But I can no longer see video on the Mac. I've tried FireFox, Chrome, and Safari, and have reloaded and restarted the browsers etc with no luck. Surely some people do run these on Macs? I'm running OS X.10.1, latest browser versions.
